OMET will show off at Drupa 2012 its top-class presses, Varyflex V2 and XFlex X6

10.04.12

OMET is exhibiting at Drupa (Hall 3 booth D90) the two most important presses for flexibility, efficiency and number of installations of its range: one 8-color 530 Varyflex V2 and one 6-color 430 mm XFlex X6.

Both machines are universally renowned for their extreme versatility, efficacy and reliability and for the opportunity to combine processes and finishing in-line in one pass. In particular, Varyflex V2, machine for flexible packaging and carton printing, is a real platform on which it is possible to interchange print units and converting stations in a simple and fast way with minimum wastage. The electronic equipment of Varyflex V2 and XFlex X6 is of the latest generation and aims at making all the activities on board and the format change as rapid and automatic as possible. Their automatic register control systems, respectively Vision-2 (Varyflex V2) and Vision-1 (XFlex X6), enhances the performance of the two machines in terms of quality, consistency and printing speed.

XFlex X6 press is the ideal machine not only for label converters, but for all the companies that need to combine different processes with the maximum operational efficiency. The main novelty presented on this machine is the presence of a digital group integrated in-line featuring speed and precision of execution. Varyflex V2 will focus instead on the richness of equipment for the printing of packaging for different sectors, with particular attention to in-line lamination (OMET offers a wide range of possible laminations, solvent and UV, cold seal, hot melt, etc.).

Varyflex V2 for the flexible packaging market and XFlex X6 for simple to complex labels (PS, Shrink, IML, booklet, etc.) represent unique solutions for the printer of today who can not help but be efficient even with runs and jobs characterized by great variability. They are reliable and consistent machines and have the ability to integrate a high number of technologies with minimal downtime and large savings of set-up times and material waste.

OMET staff will be happy to speak further of the new born XFlex X4, a mix of quality and affordability for the printer that relies on a traditional technology but still want the contribution of servo motors and of advanced controls like OMET Vision-1.

OMET flagship is innovation and care for the needs of printers and it is at Drupa to prove it, once again.
